Coming to Paris but want to avoid the tourist traps?
Want this to be the perfect trip but don’t have the time to do the research?
Behind Paris Update is a wealth of experience and information that comes from many years of living in the City of Light. We would like to share this experience with you to make your dream trip to Paris come true.
We offer two options: a reasonably priced personalized itinerary designed just for you, or an inexpensive off-the-rack itinerary that shows you both main sites and suggests charming, off-the-beaten track places to stay and eat.
Option 1: Our behind-the-scenes experts will plan a detailed itinerary – tailor-made to your interests and budget – for your visit to Paris. All you have to do is fill out the questionnaire and send it to us along with your payment via PayPal (to contact@paris-update.com). This option costs €50 per day.
In return, you will receive a detailed itinerary for your stay. It will include:
• three hotel recommendations for your stay
• sightseeing and entertainment ideas for each day
• three restaurant (or picnic) recommendations each for lunch and dinner in locations near that day’s activities.
You may request one round of adjustments to your Option 1 personalized itinerary at no extra charge.
Option 2: Our off-the-rack option provides you with a general, medium-priced one-week itinerary for a flat fee of only €50 (nonrefundable). Get the kind of up-to-the-minute information no guidebook can give you.
Please note that this itinerary is constantly being revised so that it is fully up to date. There is no need to fill out the questionnaire. Just send your nonrefundable payment of €50 by PayPal (to contact@paris-update.com), and we will send your itinerary by e-mail.
All items on the Option 2 itinerary have been chosen for their low-to-mid-range prices and for their charm and quality. We will not send you to touristy, overpriced cafés, for example, or to package-tour restaurants with standardized menus.
The beauty of both these plans is that you are free to do your own thing – no group to deal with – while being guided by an invisible expert.
To ensure a wonderful stay in Paris, we recommend that you request your itinerary as far in advance as possible, since the best of Paris – hotels, restaurants, concerts, etc. – is usually booked far ahead of time.
Remember, this itinerary doesn’t commit you to anything. You can pick and choose from it as you wish, and reserve your selections yourself.
Signing up
As soon as we receive your filled-in questionnaire for Option 1 by e-mail and payment of €50 per day of your stay via PayPal (to contact@paris-update.com), we will begin designing your personalized itinerary.
Or, if you have chosen Option 2, just send your request by e-mail and €50 payment via PayPal (to contact@paris-update.com), and we will send your intinerary by return email.
