& Friends by Kapok: menswear by up-and-coming designers.

Pop-up shops have sprung up all over Paris in anticipation of the holidays. Here’s a quick look at a few of the more interesting ones:

& Friends by Kapok (4, rue Commines, 75003 Paris; through Feb. 14) features chic menswear by up-and-coming designers from around Europe. Smith-Wykes offers handsome classic clothing with a twist, such as a cotton flannel shirt with a polo collar or a parka with hand-warming pockets, as well as elegant letter tablet cases. Other great gift ideas include camouflage briefs by The White Briefs, cashmere bowties by Flouzen, and kicky handmade shoes by You Footwear.

Around the corner, La Boutique Ephémére (Galerie Joseph, 7, rue Froissart, 75003 Paris; through Dec. 22), has a wide range of accessories by a hundred young designers.

Young designers – 34 of them – are also in the spotlight at the nearby Flash Design
