lhomme-et-la-mere_ralph_petty_nancy_huston_dmons-quotidiens

"L'Homme et la Mère" by Ralph Petty, from "Démons Quotidiens."

Nancy Huston, a Canadian writer with a big fan base in France, and Ralph Petty, a Paris-based American artist, have published an unusual collaborative book together, with Huston’s texts sometimes inspired by Petty’s drawings and sometimes inspiring them. Huston will read from the book, Démons Quotidiens: Journal à Quatres Mains, at the opening of an exhibition of Petty’s illustrations at the American University of Paris’s art gallery (6, rue du Colonel Combes, 75007 Paris) on Sept. 22, 6pm-8:30pm. The exhibition runs through Oct. 11.
